Yah's Holy DaysThere are 7 annual festivals, or feast & weekly Sabbaths in which we are suppose to upholding in honor of the Most High. The Eternal Father set up appointed days and feast we are suppose to observe seasonally and annually. These Holy Days reveal Yah's ultimate plan for humanity During the Exodus the children of Israel were given these Holy days to follow commemorating their departure from Egypt and Yahuah's plan for His children. The Festivals are during the 1st month of Abib/Nisan{March-April}, 3rd month of Sivan{May-June}, and 7th month of Ethanim/Tishri/{September-October} of the Hebrew calendar year. Passover, The Feast of Unleavened Bread, & Feast of First Fruits are to be celebrated during the "Spring season". The Feast of Weeks and Pentecost are celebrated during the "Summer season". The Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, The Feast of Tabernacles{Booths} during the "Fall season". During the 3 annual feast every male Israelite was commanded to "appear before Yahuah", that is to attend in the court of the tabernacle or the temple, and to make his offering with a joyful heart. The significance of these three great festivals was to preserve the religious faith of the nation and religious unity among the people.
The pagan holidays we do celebrate break the first two commandments. Yah is not at all pleased when we claim to honor and worship him, but we've adopted through the traditions of men pagan idolatry of gods and goddesses by celebrating the holidays they've concocted. We are violating the covenant by not following his commanded days and ways of worship. These Holy days were set to reveal our ultimate destiny, which is to reign with the Messiah for 1,000 years in the New Jerusalem. These Holy Days also show how Yahushua came to fulfill the feast of Israel. Exodus 20:8-11 Remember the Shabbath day, to qadosh (bless) it. (9) Six days you labour, and shall do all your work, (10) But the seventh day is a Shabbath of Yahuah your Master. You do not do any work-you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor or female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. (11) For six days Yahuah made the shamayim (heavens) and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore Yahuah barak (blessed) the Shabbath day and qadosh (set apart or made it holy) it.
Leviticus 23:1-3 And Yahuah spoke to Mosheh, saying (2) Speak to the children of Yisra'el and say to them, The Appointed Times of Yahuah, which you are to proclaim as qodesh (set apart) gatherings, My Appointed Times are these: (3) Six days work is done, but the seventh day is a Shabbath of rest, a qodesh (set apart/holy) gathering. You do no work, it is a Shabbath to Yahuah in all your dwellings. To see more about the Shabbat go to the Paganism in Christianity tab and click on the Sunday Sabbath tab |
Passover
Leviticus 23:5 "The Feast of Yahuah the Passover"
In the fourteenth day of the first month at the even is Yah's passover.
Passover is the first annual feast we are charged to honor in the beginning of the true year that begins in Nisan or Abib {April}. This Holy convocation is important because it signifies the Heavenly Father's mercy, grace, and love for the children of Israel. During passover Yahuah took all firstborn Egyptian males and passed over the Israelite homes that had placed the blood of a sacrificial lamb on their doorposts. Passover is revered on the 14th day of Abib, so you would have to follow the solar lunar calendar which is based off of how Yah told us to adhere to time, by using the moon for signs, appointed times, days, and years. So look to the sky and when you see the first visible sign of a crescent moon count 13 more days and you will have the 14th of that month, which should be a full moon!
Numbers 28:16- And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the passover of Yahuah.
Deuteronomy 16:1-2- Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto Yahuah thy Elohim: for in the month of Abib Yahuah thy Elohim brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.(v2)Thou shalt therefore sacrifice the passover unto the Yahuah thy Elohim, of the flock and the herd, in the place which Yahuah shall choose to place his name there.
In the New Testament Yahushua and his apostles adhered to the Festivals of the Most High. Passover was Yah's chosen time for the Messiah to die. He was the antitype to which the Passover Lamb had always referred. The true Lamb of Yahuah would take away the sin of the world.
Matthew 26:2- Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.
There are other scriptures in the new testament justifying the Passover feast being observed. Mark 14:12-16, Luke 2:41-42, John 2:13+23; John 13:1-30, I Corinthians 11:23-29

The next feast day, in the late summer or early fall is the Feast of Trumpets, this particular feast consecrated the seventh month Tishri {Sept/Oct} it was a sabbatical month. The Feast of Trumpets is a High Sabbath, a day of blowing of shofars (trumpets). It is also a gathering of the saints, a holy convocation. This Holy day is to be treated like the weekly Sabbath in where you are not to work or cause anyone else to work. You are to rest and focus on The Most High Yah, individually and with others. It is a time of rejoicing and this rejoicing is signified by blowing trumpets. Even though The Feast Of Trumpets is considered a joyous day it is also a day of repentance, reflection, forgiveness, and revering the judgments of The Most High. The trumpets were used as a form of announcing special messages which was a call to gather and a call to march. The blowing of trumpets was significant in calling the people to worship and calling them into war. This season is said to be around the time Yahushua Ha'Mashiah was born, not in the dead of winter. The Feast of Trumpets, during the fall feast season also represents a time of Yahushua's return to earth to reign in glory.
Numbers 29:1-6- And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.002:And ye shall offer a burnt offering for a sweet savour unto the Yahuah; one young bullock, one ram, and seven lambs of the first year without blemish:003:And their meat offering shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals for a bullock, and two tenth deals for a ram,004:And one tenth deal for one lamb, throughout the seven lambs:005:And one kid of the goats for a sin offering, to make an atonement for you:006:Beside the burnt offering of the month, and his meat offering, and the daily burnt offering, and his meat offering, and their drink offerings, according unto their manner, for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto Yahuah.
Numbers 10:1-10- Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.003:And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.004:And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes, which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee.005:When ye blow an alarm, then the camps that lie on the east parts shall go forward.006:When ye blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.007:But when the congregation is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.008:And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout your generations.009:And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before Yahuah your Elohim, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.010:Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your Elohim: I am Yahuah your Elohim.

Day of Atonement
Leviticus 23:27-32- Also on the tenth day of the seventh month Tishri {Sept/Oct} there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto Yahuah.028:And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before Yahuah your Elohim.029:For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.030:And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.031:Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.032:It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.
The next holy convocation is the Day of Atonement which is observed by fasting, which is refraining from eating or drinking. This day depicts humanity's need to be reconciled to the Most High through the forgiveness of sin. The Day of Atonement was considered a time for forgiveness and cleansing of sin for the priests, the nation, and the tabernacle. This is the holiest of all the festivals and was implemented because many sins and defilement's remained unacknowledged, and this special inclusive sacrifice was designed to cover all sins knowingly and unknowingly. Because of these sins, they had forfeited the privileges of the presence of Yah and the worship of Him, so that an atonement had to be made for their sins as the condition of Yah remaining with them.
Numbers 29:7-11- And ye shall have on the tenth day of this seventh month an holy convocation; and ye shall afflict your souls: ye shall not do any work therein:008:But ye shall offer a burnt offering unto Yahuah for a sweet savor; one young bullock, one ram, and seven lambs of the first year; they shall be unto you without blemish:(v9):And their meat offering shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals to a bullock, and two tenth deals to one ram,010:A several tenth deal for one lamb, throughout the seven lambs:011:One kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the sin offering of atonement, and the continual burnt offering, and the meat offering of it, and their drink offerings.

The Final Thought!
Since the beginning of time we were told to adhere to these annual and national feast days, because of the deception of Satan we have been terribly misled. Not only don't we follow these appointed day's the majority of the public don't even know about these holy days. Yahuah's appointed and commanded days are mentioned throughout the Old Testament, and the Ha'Mashiah and his apostles observed these days in the New Testament. Yahuah commands all his people to observe these appointed feast. There are 7 annual Holy Days, he gave these annual feast to reveal his overall 7 step plan and purpose for humanity. Seven is the biblical number of completion or perfection.
